Ensure Payload performance meets the customer requirements, by
devolving/apportioning performance aspects to constituent equipment
and ensuring that these function adequately to achieve the final overall
performance

· Prepare and maintain specifications for equipment procurement
· Prepare interface requirements and support testing activities
· Act as the primary point of contact for all technical discussions
with the equipment suppliers
· Liaise with equipment suppliers to deliver equipment for the
project, ensuring the project technical requirements are met
· Maintain Payload performance analysis via spreadsheets (Excel)
and simulation software (VSS)
· Regularly report progress within the SSTL project team
· Support and perform RF measurements on a test bed to assist
RF performance analysis
· Assist in the preparation of payload EMC analysis and support
related test activities
· Some travel to visit suppliers and prepare visit reports
· Assist and support various bid preparations as and when required
