| Job Title: Mission Systems Engineer - Earth Observation |
| Description |
Leading Aerospace organisation require an experienced Mission Systems Engineer to join their expanding team in Hertfordshire.
This
role will involve working on a range of activities including mission
analysis and design, satellite system analysis and design, and / or
instrumentation development.
The successful candidate will be
required to take a leading role in proposals and in the subsequent
development of overall mission/systems design in feasibility studies,
including the development of mission concepts and architectures. The
work may include mathematical modelling, theoretical physics analysis,
generation of design requirements, design trade-offs and analysis and
performance analysis.
Applicants should hold a degree or
equivalent in Physics or Spacecraft Engineering and several years
experience at industry or postgraduate level in Earth Observation and
Space Engineering Systems design. A good understanding of Earth
Observation applications and instrumentation is required. Experience in
proposal writing and of working in a commercial environment would be an
advantage. |
